See if you can get silvadene. Here in the states you need a prescription, it might be OTC wherever you are.

And get some painkillers for the flight, or at least Ambien

The sun is a crazy thing. When I was in high school we sat outside for about half hour and a friend of mine had to go to the hospital that evening with boils all over their face and get shots and what not.

I learned my lesson young. But if you want to get really freaked out check out images for "bad sunburns" -

Just by aloe and keep applying every 2-3 hours.

Showering lukewarm/cool water feels good, but isn't good for the skin.

applying leben/plain yoghurt should do good.
