So if his father in Australia talks, Israel will arrest his wife in Israel? At this point that everyone is talking about it, I dont see how Israel will be able to do so.
I wasn't being serious... This whole story seems like some kind of Australian anti Israel agenda.

My wild guess.
He was an agent who turned, knew too much, and he had to be kept silent, hence the solitary imprisonment.

Whether thats true or not, The facts still remain. What happened with his due process and fair trial? How could he 'hang himself' in such a max security room?

Only Israeli citizens have the right to bring up allegations regarding due process/fair trial...

He's not really dead, they just faked it to end the foreign investigation into him.

The disclosure came at the end of a day of extraordinary new details about the alleged double life of Zygier. It emerged that Zygier had been confronted shortly before his arrest by Australian journalist Jason Koutsoukis of Fairfax newspapers, who accused him of being a spy.
Koutsoukis told the Guardian Zygier had been identified to him as one of three Australian-Israeli citizens working for the Mossad under the cover of a European front company that sold electronic equipment to Iran.

Seems to me that Australia caught up with him and this is the solution Israel came up with to stop them. (kinda like witness protection taken to a new level)

So if his family chose to bring it to media and lobby the case I would agree with you. That's not the case... The Australian media doesn't have the right any answer.

The australian gov does have a right to take care of her citizens. But you are right, the family should be asking questions before gov and media. I am at a loss why his father for example is not saying anything. Is he afraid that Israel will ban him from ever entering the country or it affecting his bnei brith organization?

The Australian government may have a right to "take care of it's citizens", but they are not entitled to claim Israeli rights. Israeli rights are granted to Israeli citizens.

If he was a double agent and turned against Israel, it likely wouldn't be s/t his father would be proud of.

Israel’s Justice Ministry released a statement Wednesday evening acknowledging the existence of "Prisoner X" for the first time, though it stopped short of naming him. It assured Israelis that whatever Prisoner X had done, due process had been observed at every step: “His family was notified of the arrest immediately. . . . The prisoner was held by proxy of an arrest warrant issued by the court. . . . He was duly represented in all the proceedings against him by attorneys."

+1 probably the case. One report says he was involved in the Dubai murder, and leaked the whole operation and all it's details to them afterwards.

They wouldn't put him in maximum security for this and if this was the case saying that he leaked the operation,  wouldn't be a security breach

I spoke to a guy in shule today who knew Ben personally
They used to daven at same chabad house some years back
He said he was brought back here by two fellow 'corporation' officers who gave a eulogy praising him etc at the chevra kadisha before burial.
Alot of questions still remain unanswered and will probably stay like that considering the confidential nature of the case..
Either way its quite a sad story, especially for his family

He did have 3 lawyers and the Australian government was notified.

I suspect that his cover was about to be blown so he was taken away. He reportedly was involved in a front company selling (sabotaged parts?) to Iran.
Whether he actually committed suicide, or this is just a fancy witness protection is another story.

But that doesn't answer why he was arrested in first place.
Love me or hate me. I still love you.

He was granted due process- the case was reviewed by multiple branches of the government including appeal.

Either way, this is a terrible break for Israel. Makes them look not much better than their neighbors.

The Military censor is way overused there, especially when they just leak stories to foreign sources and then just quote them.
