I did in once from J to F not being a connecting flight, and I just made it while losing myself in the airport, This summer I had it as a connecting flight (they connected it in VIE when I checked in), and I had a agent waiting for me to take me to the gate, I still had time to go to the lounge for 25 min!

I have business trip planned to YYZ, looks like I'll now need to spend the first day of that trip in PIT.
Landing in YYZ on AC at 5 PM (from TLV) in J. Crazy to book an AA flight leaving at 6:11 PM? I have nexus/global entry, but will need to switch terminals, etc.

I can check it up for you, but I need the AA flight number. I don't see any AA nonstop from YYZ to PIT.

DP: i flew hainan from ALA to PEK. flight was delayed close to two hours. didnt research the PEK airport properly. landed in PEK and border patrol wouldnt let me through (needed to transit to another terminal). they insisted on me calling hainan rep to assist even though hainan was paid ticket vs separate booking PEK-HKG-JFK award ticket on cx (asiamiles).
after waiting approx 30 min, Hainan agent strolled over and contacted CX help desk (from her own cell phone might i add) and in a very angry tone, got the CX rep to book me on later flight from PEK to HGK. cx agent texted her a screen shot of the new itinerary which she showed border patrol and they let me through to transit. i ended up not having time in HGK as planned but if i would have missed the HKG-JFK flight, bigger issues with shabbos and date line would have come in to play had i needed to leave fri am.

They don't release you from the intl area until your bags are transferred (they have a screen), precheck not accepted at Canadian security. We ran to the gate, last ones on.

I should clarify, I didn't have GE at the time, but my flight was delayed, and thankfully, but also stupidly, they held the plane for us. We got lots of dirty looks and some snarky comments from an FA

No bags, and I have Nexus. If I was in Toronto, I would have no problem showing up to the airport at 540. I guess the only concern is a delayed flight. I think I'm going to risk it
