Scenario: VAN needs to be activated for first time use, and it sometimes take a couple of days from enabling until activated.

I can't argue with your experience. I can tell you, however, that in the hundreds of times I've used CIti VANs, they've been active immediately.

seems like UA was a bad choice.. its been a month, and still nada. I didnt even login once to even read something!.

btw i just tried calling to cancel and was on hold for a while.. seems like ppl are waiting till the last minute..

It seems like you missed what I said.
Which was that it can take time to get cleared when you use VAN for the very first time ever.
