CHASE ATM DEPOSIT

Ijust made a cash ATM deposit all of the sudden it said error and kept my cash it printed a receipt saying to call them.I called they ask me a few questions and they said it will be in my acct within 12hrs any body ever have this?

I had something similar. I deposited 1700 cash and it only came out saying 1500. I canceled the transaction and they only returned 1500 to me. I called and they credited my account 200 the same day.

Happened to me today, ATM took $1000 and gave me back only $920.

Got a receipt that said I had a technical error and listed a number to call1. When I call I got a temp credit of $80 (to cover my loss), and that they will look into it. I'm hoping it'll all go well.

I found Chase to give the benefit of the doubt on small amounts. Back in the day when u still had to deposit cash or cc payment in an envelope, I made a really stupid mistake of paying a $200 cc bill in cash at the atm and Lo and behold it never posted. I called to complain and was credited the 200

I'm sure they have some way of knowing that extra money ended up in their bank that day rather than just giving the benefit of the doubt for a small amount.

Happened to me once, atm ate a check. I went inside, they opened it up and couldn't find it! The banker called for me and they credited my account pending an investigation. They never took it back.

Every ATM is outfitted with a camera , I always count out my money  or check that I'm depositing in from of the ATM so that it'll be recorded just in case.

What’s the quickest method for funds availability with chase? ATM , live teller or App

If it's a Chase check, the funds should be available immediately when depositing by teller.

(Iirc though, chase doesn't like people using pending funds.)
