Hi Please tell me if this sound legit or someone is pulling my leg
I sold a Chase United Club Pass.
I took it straight from a friend's Chase envelope.
The Buyer just sent me the following message:
This card number was already used. They (united) destroyed it in front of me at counter at LAX pres club. I'm not going to hassle to pursue refund or anything but wanted to let you know that it was pretty irritating and embarrassing.
I never heard of them checking and they always take it from you!
Furthermore this one was actually a clean card?
Anyone have a similar experience??

IME (I just used two passes myself) they do not look anything up. They just ask you to fill out your name.

from my experiences on ebay you will soon get a negative feedback. play his book by his rule, say you are sorry and will send a new one out but you are only getting a new one on 2 weeks does he mind waiting.. keep pushing it off until the feedback window expires

1) He already left good feedback
2) good feedback is not worth a new card.
I have alot I can afford some neg.
3) If he files a claim he will win because Ebay always sides with the buyer

You're not 100% sure he is though. I still think my approach is the best at the moment.
