I am flying El Al with the price mistake tickets and is flying with 10 Family members on Thursday and I misspelled my brothers name.

What should I do or expect at the airport.

I would try calling ELAL now and if not get to the airport early and they should hopefully be able to help you out.  Explain to them it's a nickname.

I was planning on going early and say its a nick name and we don't have any issue traveling in the USA with that name, You read my mind lol. If they make  a hassle, do you think they will charge a lot?

I don't really think they will charge you at all. You should be ok. Let us know what happens.

Whenever this happens with a client of mine I insert a message called an OSI on the ticket stating the correct spelling of the name. Call El Al and ask them to insert that info, if booked through TA, call your TA and request.

I've had people denied check in over small typos. Always fix in advance.

Just wanted to keep you posted, when I went to the Airport and didn't tell them about the typo and they didn't mention anything, Just said no problem and enjoy your flight.

So keep it quiet and all should be fine.

So for the future if anyone has the same situation, don't mention anything and it should be fine.
