Apparently pdanet is incompatible with my device (or so says the play store).

Will try the others.
Sprint blocks it from Play Store. You can sideload.
or Search for  FoxFi which I believe is the same thing.

Got FoxFi to work. Although the hotspot doesn't; can only connect through USB or bluetooth. But at least I can get my comp online.

4.3 for Sprint Htc One is out today though as always I'd wait a day or two to see what it's issues are.

Apparently it seems the develepor options get removed with the update. In case anyone's interested. Also, you'll be stuck with Hangout. Though there may still be a way to get Talk back. I haven't checked.

Have you tried clicking Settings--->About Phone-->Build Number?
Clicking it a bunch of times on Nexus 4 opens up developer mode.

I upgraded.

Don't see too much of a difference.

Everything is running a bit smoother which is a pleasant surprise. And there's a few little features here and there that are nice options. Was hoping the upgrade would fix your camera issues.

Must be a faulty unit. My phone doesn't have such issue.

Not to continue that discussion here, but:

Very weird, indeed.

Problem with Chase app itself?

Nope. Some people with other android phones say it works. So perhaps problem with phone?

Nope. Some people with HTC One say it works. So perhaps problem with the carrier's phone?

Nope. Some people with Sprint HTC one say it works. So perhaps problem with software version on Sprint HTC One?

Nope. Some people with exact same Sprint HTC One software say it works. So... what?

I would say problem with your phone. There are known problems that can affect one phone but not the next like bad pixels, dusty camera, yellow display. Simply, a popular defect.

That's the only thing it could be, as I surmised in another thread.

But it must be a pretty darn popular defect judging by the number of other people who are affected.

Yes, the Talk app will update to Hangout and this time you can't get it back to Talk (AFAIK)

Can someone explain from a logical POV why it makes sense to downgrade the Google Talk app from multiple account signup to single account and from being able to see who's online to not?

Cab anyone explain logically why anyone would use Talk in the first place when it's features are more limited than AIM in the 90's?
