I know all the excuses, but I would buy it in a heartbeat if it would have a removable battery. I use more than one battery a day. Not every day am I near a charger long enough.

True, the design doesn't seem to allow for it. If only they could make an anodized aluminum clickable back? :P
I love how solid my phone feels. Though that wasn't the deciding factor at the end of the day. It was the narrow build compared to the s4 and my dislike of touchwiz.

Trying to do a transfer using the HTC transfer tool and it keeps timing out and saying wireless connection failed.

Any ideas on how to fix the issue? The WiFi is fine otherwise.

Is it penny wise pound foolish to save $100 by getting the M7 over the M8?

The way company's make money is by not releasing updates to older devices forcing you to buy new ones. Long term its foolish but short term not.

Normally I would say get the m7. It's an awesome device and I actually prefer the size. But the m8 has better battery life (which is always helpful) and a place for a micro sd card. If you think you will want the extra space then go for the m8. If not I'd personally stick with the m7.

You should be able to find the m7 for a penny FYI. That's $200.

If you're only saving $100 it actually may be worth it to go for the m8. Better resale value later on.

I meant he'd be saving $200. That's assuming he is buying it on contract.

I have one but I simply cannot use the keyboard. The android auto-correct or lack thereof is terrible. I used to have an iphone and that was pretty decent. Ive had no choice but to use a blackberry now with a full qwerty keyboard.

Seriously? Maybe auto correct is off?? Never had a problem with the stock keyboard. In fact it's one of my favorites.

The amount of errors I had was terrible. on touchscreen keyboards there needs to be some sort of autocorrect. its not qwerty so mistakes are more liely to occur. my messages did not make any sense. It was my first android phone and maybe you already knew what to do.

Bump.
None, though it does seem to affect the battery ever so slightly IMO.

And, OTOH, any upside from JellyBean?
