Sprint in BP and have dropped calls left and right. Though, the brand new 4G network is blazing fast .

RJ, one point you overlooked: cost

when having a family plan, sprint has a great deal. if you are in an area where it works well most times, you may consider it a good buy.

I do not love sprint, but I do love additional lines at 19.99 for smart phones (before they started to add data fee).

seems sprint closed their BP location? (13th and 41st)
looks open to me

There's an app called sensorly, great app to track LTE coverage for all carriers.
I've picked up LTE (Sprint GS3) on various parts of the belt parkway (around Kennedy airport, and around ocean parkway). There's strong coverage from like avenue U all the way up, from Nostrand to McDonald ave, and spotty coverage all over the rest of Flatbush.
It's coming..... slowly. Hey at least Sprint is Consistent, no surprises:-P

firstly there are known no wait numbers, also most people do not call sprint day and night. it comes from the old dropped calls credit days many bochrim felt sprint therfore should give them some refund every time their phone sneezes wrong. i am a customer at both sprint and verizon, they equally have issues, with verizon since you pay more you subconsciously make excuses for them each time something goes wrong..
That is ridiculous.

Verizon is better

1. Hardly ever drops calls.
2. 10 times clearer sound.
3. Great CS

I had Sprint, my wife had VZW, (my father in law was paying for her plan), I switched my service to VZW, because when I used my wife's phone, it was incomparably better than mine.

I had Verizon when smartphones werent rly so popular. Service was vry good, had plenty of run ins with customer service, many billing mistakes etc.

Switched to sprint, few yrs ago when I got my bb, now with them for 4yrs with, currently iphone 5. I rarely drop calls, except for like 2 dead spots around town (which is annoying), I found customer service very helpful and I've gotten plenty of extras 😉 .

My wife has Verizon. The only plus I see with her iphone 5 over mine is that vzw has more LTE coverage than sprint. However sprint is expanding thier LTE coverage. Phone service seems the same. 3G is a lil quicker. So to me sprint is just fine, Verizon isn't that much better that it's worth the $.

On a side note, I've read that many ppl have successfully gotten their ETF's waived. I don't understand why sprint would waive it, your under contract and you have no leverage, why would they wave and lose a customer??

From what I've heard, they don't wave it very easily at all. When you go through the fcc, now that's a different story.

I needed a phone for a few months and I have a old Blackberry so i added a number to it from my Sprint plan and when I cancelled the want to  charge me $200 cancellation fee, I told them i only wanted it for a few months that is why I never got a new phone, I had no intention to lock into  a 2 yr contact. They said the policy is for every new line there is a new 2 yr contact even with out the phone.
Any tips to get them to waive the fee?

I called and asked for a supervisor they said they cant help but i didn't give in and they transferred me to different department and I kept on telling them that Verizon doesn't have this policy and after 30 min I got someone to waive the charge :)

I am looking to switch from sprint to verizon. I have 4 phones on my plan, 2 smart and 2 regular. I may switch one of those phones to a smartphone. Does anyone know of a way to get a cheaper price? Currently, its per phone and a data charge to share, totaling around $220 plus tax.
Thanks

Employee discount.
VZW is very straight forward with their bills, no hidden made up charges like sprintt.
