Switching from Sprint to Verizon

I had Verizon for a few years and had problems with billing EVERY MONTH!!!! I was spending hours on the phone because they always added in wrong charges, overcharging me for things I never ordered, charging me for games I never used, etc. I was so sick of spending so much time fighting against these charges. It was seriously every month. Each month I got refunded the money, but it was so annoying that I couldn't stand it any more. When our contract was up, we ran to Sprint. Haven't had any issues with Sprint in the last year. Yeah, the service isn't as good as verizon, but at least I can use my internet as much as I want and don't need to think about it. Most of my other friends are always over on their internet and pay a TON.. and they're always looking for free wifi to avoid using their phone.

Haven't had a single billing issue in over a year.  When I added Canada to my plan it took 5 minutes and reverted automatically when I returned.

u have share everything? its prob not even worth it then, load up an unlimited on ur line and 10 for each there after....

ya makes the mot sense then. are they going to ever force you to switch, the practically did 2 months ago when i wanted to switch around the plan, they made me switch to share everything

i just had a real mess with verizon after adding the mexico plan and still got billed roaming 500.00
the site clearly shows a plan to have 1000 mins for 15.00 which is what i added
they told my wife twice on the phone that the charges were correct until i called the cancel dept and got it straightened out

vzw is very good but dont think that they are perfect

I'm on the Family Shared Data plan with a 23% discount.  The discount only comes off the data portion.  They told me on certain plans it comes off voice also but not the family shared data plan. 

The guy in  the store actually told me by mistake that it would be on the voice portion also.  I realized on my first bill that he was mistaken.  I went back into the store and spoke with him, he again told me the incorrect info.  I asked him to get his manager and double check that that info was correct.  When he did, the manager quickly pulled him to the back.  The manager came back out and apologized for the misinformation I was given and informed me that he had put a $500 credit on my account.  He said that would've been how much of a discount i would've received if i was getting 23% off voice also for 24 months.

Your best bet is if you can do it under a business of some sort, those plans have room for negotiations and discounts.
