My rebbe always said...if you dont "mix" them...your good.  Therefore he always had three separate cups in front of him...one with wine, scotch, and beer...and he drank one after the other never "mixing" them.  It definitely worked for him  ;)
It's not about the quantity of your posts.  It's about the quality.

Never met him, but I already like your Rebbe.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is to serve as a bad example

Not mixing is bubbe maisos, you can mix anything you want.

Drinking too much is what causes issues and invariably if you mix you will likely drink too much, hence the reason for the bubbe maisos.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

What really makes the mess, is drinking sweet / or eating sweet or eating alot in general with the alcohol, from my Experience staying dry and not eating to much keeps you more or less on track even with bigger amounts

It's almost as if many are more excited for drinking on Purim than really excited for Purim and what it means.

And if that's the case you're probably better off not drinking on Purim at all and picking another day to enjoy all your drinking.

I dont drink ever, but I understand why one would be excited to drink on Purim. If a person goes over board then there is something wrong, but to be excited about just drinking I dont think there is something wrong with that.

IMO those who don't drink, or drink very little, shouldn't be lighting more than ner ish ubeiso. They are equal level of mitzvos and I don't know why people think it's ok to be meikel or not even be yoteh 1, and are makpid to do mehadrin min hamihadrin in every window door and driveway for the other

I'm not saying it's a "right" reason, but it is a reason:

Purim is the only time of the year you can drink and act however you want and people won't say anything or be upset about it (usually), but during the rest of the year (most) people can't go "all out."

I do understand where sky121 is coming from. Alot of people overdo it nowadays and it takes away from Purim. If you do it in the right way there is nothing wrong.
