2014 Ody refresh comes out 07/02.
Where did you get that date from? Was it released today?

Thanks. I really would like to pay around 25K for a 2013 ex-l but it really starting to look doubtful that this will happen :(
Now I have to decide on alternatives

I think 27.5K is probably more realistic.
Then again for a few K more you can have the 2014 with new features and probably a higher resale value.

Not so interested in spending a few K more. Have to decide if I'd rather stretch (after stretching for other things) and spend 27.5 for a new car or like 20k for a 2010 with 30,000 miles

Don't forget the new car will be under warranty versus paying out of pocket for problems.

I know, but I've never filed a claim on my current car. How often do these kinds of things get covered by warranty

New is the way to go... Especially for minivans which ALL get abused by the previous owners... Its not like these are driven by a 50-70 year old couple like some other cars and have minimal wear and tear.
104 Shabbos meals,24 YomTov meals,+50 other Holiday/big meals. Really you want to know why Im fat ??

No, but these cars typically have lots of soccer mom miles, so lots of short trips which can cause more harm and problems down the road than longer trips.
YMMV I suppose.

Right wasn't really referring to people putting the pedal to the medal... But you should see the crazy frumba ladies drive around here... Used is fine both odysey's and sienna's last.. you can save some $$I guess I would just prefer new especially since they hold there value so well..

Looks like I will be buying out someone's lease assuming all the details work out.
2011 (the year of the new design) Honda Odyssey EX with leather seats with 30k miles on it: $18k. I think it's a steal
