I really don't understand how in 2013 the Ody still doesn't have a push button start.  Seems like such an obvious thing, especially for moms who don't want to have to fumble around in their purse/diaper bag for a key.

Instead it has 19 cupholders :P

+1 so true. On the Accord you can now get the push start on the EX model and above so they are improving. Im assuming within the next 2 years they will have push start on all models.

Dont think that is true. From what I know they give full insurance on cars with push button.

Huh? The car won't turn on in the first place if you don't have the keys in the car.

In my Altima at least if you take the key out while the car is running it starts beeping like crazy.

I have the same car and the same thing happens to me. IIRC it should happen on al cars that have push button start.

this car was running with the keys in the raincoat- they decided they dont need the raincoat anymore passed gave it to be hung back up. 250 miles later they needed "on star" to get back- then they went to a dealership and got a new key.

And they ignored the beeping and "NO KEY" on the dashboard for 250 miles ???

Obviously a remote starter will have more risks than a factory push start.

I went shopping with my forgetful Grandma in Sawgrass mills for about 7 hours. She has a Lexis and had the keys in her pocket. Walked away and left car running for the entire time..

FTFY. Yes the car will remain on if you walk away with the key, but once you turn off the car it will not turn on again if the key is not there.
