A bit off topic but sort of on topic lolCan I still buy the 100k warranty if I purchased the car already? (A week ago) At the dealer they offered much more expensive options.
Yes, you have some time. I had a great experience with Jerry—it will cost about a third of what you'd pay at a local dealer. There's no difference in the warranty, it's applied to your vehicle and can be used at any Toyota location. but almost every other Honda has a hybrid option if I'm not mistaken
How long do you have to do it?
See dan's post. Cant speak to 10 year olds but I have the 2023 (which is a hybrid) and the gas mileage is incredible. Otherwise, the odysey has the edge in literally almost everything. THe toyota entertainment/heat/AC system is horrible; the drive is not great, pickup is bad, second row seats on odyssey move around better (if you have the 8 seater version of each). I think the only thing other than gas mileage the I like better about toyota is the driver arm rest and center console, but that isn't something that would push me to one or the other.
Rented a new 2023 Sienna XLE Hyrbid, first time driving a Sienna I think.Pros: Love all the storage space in the front, much more usable than the Ody.Hybrid gas mileage is amazing.Cons:Drives like a truck vs the Ody drives like a car.Worse brakes.Climate controls seem more confusing and less intuitive, but that could just be a learning curve.NoisierOverall, I'd still rebuy the Ody due to much more comfortable driving and braking, despite the worse gas mileage and storage spaces.
I've been hearing that quality has deteriorated over the last few years on both Sienna and Odyssey - anyone have experience or thoughts on this?
36 months or 36k miles
In what way?Our 2023 Ody is over 2 years old now, zero issues.
Heh:
This is only for new cars or even used
Not sure - more of a general thing, people recommending to get older models - maybe 2017 or earlier?
sienna 2017 has issues with the transmission.
I've had zero issues with mine, not with transmission and not with anything else.
