assurance/virgin/obama phone not working cuz of sprint airrave

Basically when making a call at home it "roams" on to the airrave (airwave?) device that I have, and says that account cannot be verified. is it possible to stop this?

Also, IIRC a couple of moths ago I got a letter saying that now they offer X free texts a month also, anyone know how to activate this?

but it seems that to get free talk and free 250 text you must pre activate it every month... (YMMV?)
