HUCA tips:

1) To avoid being told "You already called about this and were told no". The trick is to call about other things in the middle, so when the rep looks at the notes of the last few calls it's other stuff.

2) To avoid speaking to the same rep you just spoke to. The trick is to use 2 phones, so when the tzaddik answers, you quickly call on the other line and ensure you get a different one.

Don't you have to go through a menu before they put a rep on the phone? If so, how does this work?

Another cute thing I noticed, I opened a Amex card on Jan '13, but on the report it shows up as opened since Jan '12! (my first card with Amex was opened April '12).

Back in the day when citi had the 75k AA card which at the end was only available over the phone, I called for the visa to apply and then called right back to apply for the amex when the same guy picked up.
