BTW, how much longer is traveling overland from Jerusalem versus getting from Jerusalem to TLV, checking in and waiting for flight and flying? Door-to-door how long should Jerusalem-Amman take overland?
Can someone with experience advise on the1) easiest2) safest 3) quickest way to travel from Jerusalem to Amman overland? Please provide approximate costs as well. Thanks.
the easiest and most convenient option entails getting visa prior, are you fine with that?
Are you also taking into consideration the time it takes to go to a Jordanian consulate and obtain a visa?
Obviously. But I'm asking about overland.
I beleive the beit She'an crossing gives visas on the spot. So does Aravah which is farther away.
Jerusalem to Aravah = 3.5 hours driving. Getting across border = minimum 1/2 hour. Border to Amman = 3.5 hours driving.
Jerusalem to beit She'an is 1:40 and from there to amman can't b more than 2 hours so that's the easiest land crossing for someone without a visa. But like D93 said, flying is way simpler.
Are you positive you can obtain a visa by Beit She'an?
Why don't you want to fly?
No BA options available. Considering cash. Want to know if the schlep/experience is worth it.

Why is that "LOL"? They don't want them to be attacked.
Have you been attacked when running around there?
