A few questions about traveling from AMM to Isarel by car:
How much should a taxi cost from AMM to the border?
Do you need to order VIP service or you can just show up?
Are there regular Israeli taxis on the other side?
TIA
1. IIRC my taxi ride from the GH Amman to the border was 35 JD, they may try to overcharge from the airport but you can negotiate like in Israel.

2. You can just show up.

3. I would definitely assume so, though I don't specifically remember seeing a taxi there. I took a sheirut.

Interesting. I didn't have any issue coming in with tefilin and a yarmulka a few times.

Not according to this article.

"But when the man saw the yarmulkes"

If its not exposed they want bother you.

Only if its considered.
"obvious Israeli identification"
It's a problem

"The man in the counter asked us to take off our hats and we thought it was standard procedure for passport control. But when the man saw the yarmulkes....."

Seems like yarmulka under hat would be an issue too.

How about tefilin? If only exposed Jewish articles are an issue, who exposed their tefilin at a border crossing?

Muslim inside the pants is no different than Jewish ones.

Unless they would target children.
