No, but I didn't run around with my tzitzis flying and kippa showing.
It seems that there must have been an issue in order to suddenly implement this new rule but I haven't really heard any negative reports coming out of Jordan about Jews being attacked.
And I haven't heard any reports of Jews running around Jordan in their full Jewish garb either.
Wasn't there Bresliv guys dancing in AMM?
In AMM airport will they cause issues with religious articles?
Not if they are concealed
Aren't known to
Any reasonably valid concern for religious Jews with religious articles in luggage (not flaunted, but there), entering Amman and spending a couple days there? Would appreciate input from personal experience versus news articles.
If your Jewish ID is concealed there is no difference between a Jew and non Jew.Religious articles in luggage is only a potential issue with authorities if they open your luggage, but they probably won't do anything to you if you're in transit, and the worst thing that can happen is that they will deny entry if try to enter the country.
If plan is to enter country for a couple days, how likely they inspect luggage?
FWIW they didn't check my luggage when I went into Amman.
If anybody is going through AMM soon or knows someone who is please PM me.I lost my jordan shotglass and would like them to buy me one. TIA
