Jet Blue miles expired - help!

I realized in January when I was on Jet Blue's website booking a ticket from JFK to LAX that all my points were gone! Apparently I hadn't taken any Jet Blue flights in the past 12 months so they all disappeared. Within less than 30 days of them being removed from my account I booked a flight on Jet Blue. I called customer service & they refused to reinstate my points, even though I booked a flight. I don't have their credit card... does anyone know if there's a way to reinstate Jet Blue points? Has anyone been successful with this?

Can anyone help me here with AA miles? Can I just call them and have them reinstate if they expired several months ago?

We were asking if anyone has had a positive experience with this when calling. Yes, I know I can putpac, I didnt want to risk wasting 30+ mins on this if no one else has had success..

Besides for the Reengage challenge you can also credit old car rentals that you didnt get credit for to reactivate miles.

They told my father if he gets approved for the Citi AA credit card, they'll reinstate the miles.
