Target released a great coupon yesterday (maybe to celebrate Heinz's buyout by Buffet) for $2 off (3) Heinz Ore-Ida Frozen Potatoes or (1) Heinz Ketchup 38oz!
Heinz Ketchup 38-oz – $1.99 (the price may vary by store)
Use the  $2 off (3) Heinz Ore-Ida Frozen Potatoes or (1) Heinz Ketchup 38oz Target Coupon = Free

How do you get a group of lawyers to smile for a picture?

A: Just say "Fees!"

There are 2 perks of target store coupons, although YMMV.

1. There is no tax.

2. There is no real limit on use.

What does that have to do with Target per se?  In NYS at least, the only factor is the type of product you're purchasing, nothing to do with where you buy it (CMIIW).  So, I don't see how this is a "perk", or unique to Target.

I don't know about NYS, although I am pretty sure, it works irrespective of state, as it is based on TG's computer system. Have you tried to purchase an item that would be free with a TG coupon and still gotten charged tax?

When a TG coupon is used to get an item for free, there is no tax (because of the way the store coupon is treated in the internal computer system).

However, if you use a manufacturer coupon for the same amount, you will usually have to pay tax (again, because although the item is free, the taxable amount is still due). No big deal, just a useful side point.

Because with manufacturers coupon target still gets paid, just by the manufacturer and they don't covert the tax. As opposed to a target coupon where target  get paid. It's the same on Amazon
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

Anyone have a copy of the coupon? They seem to have changed it to "AND"
You have to buy both the ketchup and the fries
