For the MCW to cover, don't you need to decline the car rental company's CDW?

If so on a monthly rental (in Israel-that CDW in included without an option to decline) MCW doesn't cover..

setting up the rate? yes more or less -  but.. on a monthly rate there is no way to take off the cdw

Officially you do need to decline.
But if there's no way to decline and there's a deductible they will probably still accept the claim.

In the T&C is says that if the company doesn't let you decline they give you a number to call so you can call that number to find out.

As I figured:
Landed in Israel, came to take the car from Hertz, the lady just LAUGHED in my face when I showed her the Sapphire WMC.
She said there's NO WAY to decline their insurance and be covered with the WMC.
When I tried to insist - it just became worse....  (Keep in mind we both are Israeli... :) )
So here I am, with wife and 3 kids, all under 2yrs (b"h) after 12Hrs flight from HKG (yes - in coach!) and its 00:30 at night.
Rolled in to the Mazda 3 (at least she got me and upgrade for 3NIS a day) and left.

Failed - yet again.

DAN - How to you pull it off every time??

Do you have in writing from MC that they cover Israel ?
If so you could decline the CDW and pay only for the LI.   If you have booked via an agent, contact him, he should be able to help you.

If you use the SP WMC and add an authorized user on your contract and they have an israeli license are they covered? Avis says no but called master card and they said yes. Prettoy sure MC is correct but would like to hear from the people here. Could not get anything writing right now

they always charge 3PPD insurance , no way out of that. they only thing it waives is the CDW insurance with the WMC, that shouldn't be a problem as they all know that the Chase Sapphire card covers it

no. chase ink is not a wmc.

Hertz gave me no trouble at all. (Citi WMC) Is budget the same?
