Eta, after actually using it, interface is a little nicer, but it still not saving my address..
When you hit the car icon on the bottom left it doesnt bring up a search option with favorites, saved and past searches?

One disadvantage with the updated version is that the line that shows where you need to drive is so thick that you can hardly make out the color of the traffic situation. In traffic I  always used to move the map ahead to see when the "red" will disappear. But now all you see is the thick blue line.

Waze messed me over last night real bad and caused me to have to rent a hotel next to the interstate.
Just say thanks that it didn't lead you into an Arab village or "refugee" camp, like it did to two IDF soldiers.

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Android.
I never had an issue either before the update. Not it won't save home or favorites.

Did you try deleting it and then reinstalling or deleting the data?

Far a git yur,
Why don't they add lane assist?
One disadvantage with the updated version is that the line that shows where you need to drive is so thick that you can hardly make out the color of the traffic situation. In traffic I  always used to move the map ahead to see when the "red" will disappear. But now all you see is the thick blue line.
Can we make a campaign that all DDF members write a review?
I like vanilla but my name is Venilla.

Lane assist? You mean when it shows which lane to go in when exiting a highway?
