My wife can't stand the smell of the Dead sea. Make sure yours can. Eilat's weather is ~110 in the summer

i tried booking the La Meridian Dead Sea for around Succot, but it only allowed me to book it for a minimum of 3 nights, other wise it shows that there r no room available. Is that normal?

You can book for 3 nights and call SPG to cancel some of those nights.

It's worth checking out once.  I don't think we'd go back though.
Way too much other stuff in Israel to check out.
And Eilat isn't even worth checking out once IMHO.

Has that worked for you in the past? Why would they do that? The Dead Sea for 3 nights is just to long.

That is a good idea, for me that will not work out, as it is around the holidays, thanks though, for future planning.

We had a very nice one night stay there- the next AM climbed Masada at sunrise- fabulous. Then returned to the hotel for a spectacular breakfast ! Worth it but not for three nights

A pity if true.
Still definitely worth a shot as long as its fully refundable (as it usually is) as I've done it successfully many times in the past with no issue.

+1.
Either it works or you try again until you get it to work or give up.
