Twas but a joke and to answer this
BTW can I just say that I detest the +1 shtick?
Yes you are entitled to say whatever it pleases you to say

I do happen to agree with you that it does get out of hand sometimes ( not that I'm not guilty of it from time to time myself.)

BTW can I just say that I detest the +1 shtick?

I think I gave in and did it a few times but I just hate it.

I assume it's supposed to mean "me too" hence the +1 means, "not just you, brother! count me in, too!" But then what the heck does it mean when people write +1000000? Are you pretending to be a million people? Or does the number suddenly no longer mean "me too" but rather it now is supposed to be a numeric expression of how right the previous comment was? And how do people determine if it's a +1000000 or a +1000000000000? It's totally arbitrary. You just get excited and start pressing zeros. It's like people who think multiple exclamation points makes their point more convincing. Guess what? It doesn't!!!!!!!!!

+10000000000000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm not who you think I am.

I don't think that's limited to DDF or Trump.
