Topic Wiki

To find items (like this one) that are eligible for Easy Rebates that may end up being worth buying just for the points use this link.

If the status for the Easy Rebate says "Your reward has been sent" but you've never received the card or lost it before ever using it, then call 1-877-266-6483 to have Staples send out a replacement.

There are often coupons that lower the up front cost of paper that's on sale with a rebate. And other coupons, too.
Staples.com > on top menu bar - shop deals > coupons
BUT:

The coupon is now only able to work once per order! The $5 off is now being pro-rated between all the cases in the order, rather than the 4x it's put in!
To use the coupon 4x, you need to have each case checked out separately.  Which means that besides the bother at the register, you submit 4 different rebates - and you get 4 different rebate cards of $41 - instead of 1 rebate card worth $164.

Funny math.  You also could have $22 cash back with Barclays Arrival or 1,500 UA miles (~$25.50) with UA Club, etc.
Gotta subtract the other opportunities from that.

Might have been best, but it's not 70% off.  It's only as good as the next best card would have given you.

Made $54.05+ shopping for $77 worth of items at staples!!

I just used my $240 in ecards that I paid $200 for and $45 (on my ink card) to buy 2 cases and 4 reams of paper, a $200 Mastercard, a better binder (30% off). I'll be due back for $71.96 in rebates, $15.05 in UR points (worth $27.09 @ 1.8 ) and a $200 gift card. This adds up to $299.05 back for $245 paid + whatever the regular points I'll get, (maybe 25%+5%) for a total of $54.05+ back and all the items purchased($77)!!

Cardpool.com will send you a $40.50 check for a $50 Gap giftcard, I just saw. So you would come out a little ahead. Do you think this is worth it? Is cardpool reliable?

Cardpool is reliable but you need to decide if its worth the $2 each you'll make if you use your ink card minus the 47 cents paid for shipping. If you buy 20 (assuming the store has 20) then you're making $39.53 (or more if u don't want it lost in the mail), and if you bought the egift cards then you'll be making another $40 minus the points lost for not using the ink card ($12). Soooo: paying $800 for 20 cards makes you $39.53 or $67.53.

Good luck! :)

Been that way for awhile already.  Only rebates under $10 have the PayPal option.

I just received my 10 $100 visa gc that I ordered
Last week each with a 20% off coupon earning almost $200 out of this game (and no they did not cancel my orders)
Now question where do I get the code to activate them? It says that it will be mailed to purchaser but I did not receive it with the gc. Will they mail it separately? Or am I missing something here?

I happened to need to make a purchase at Gap today so I went to Staples and bought one for myself and 10 to sell to Cardpool for a profit of $44.13 ($5 from Cardpool + 2200 ur points @ 1.8=$39.60 - $.47). It basically paid for my purchase and a little more :)

I forgot to value the Chase UR points at 1.8 and add the $.50/card from cardpool, which would make 20 cards a profit of $82 (shipping to cardpool is FREE). Not a bad profit!!
