To find items (like this one) that are eligible for Easy Rebates that may end up being worth buying just for the points use this link.

If the status for the Easy Rebate says "Your reward has been sent" but you've never received the card or lost it before ever using it, then call 1-877-266-6483 to have Staples send out a replacement.

There are often coupons that lower the up front cost of paper that's on sale with a rebate. And other coupons, too.
Staples.com > on top menu bar - shop deals > coupons
BUT:

The coupon is now only able to work once per order! The $5 off is now being pro-rated between all the cases in the order, rather than the 4x it's put in!
To use the coupon 4x, you need to have each case checked out separately.  Which means that besides the bother at the register, you submit 4 different rebates - and you get 4 different rebate cards of $41 - instead of 1 rebate card worth $164.

I haven't been able to load them to BB, but RB should be fine
Have you not been able to use the rebate cards to load BB at the Walmart ATM, Walmart cashier or Bluebird web site?

Thank you for all the confirmations for BB ATM and RB debit load. It currently works at gas stations too (full value w/o any pre-auth amounts), so that's a nice quick way to liquidate if the amount is low like $20.

Would work, but remember the fees involved and potential shutdown.

Why would they shut you down?

"Shop through ChaseSM is an online shopping platform that lets you earn extra points when you shop at over 200 stores."

They are offering 2X for shopping at staples online.

So would that be 7X if I use chase ink?

Sounds like a good idea. Try a small purchase and report back.

We don't discuss that on this forum.

I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

I just got an email from Staples stating that my order of several $200 Visa GCs is being delayed. What are my chances of compensation for this, if any? Has anyone had any experience? Does it make a difference by how much time it was delayed (mine wasn't delayed much)?
TIA

Had that too, in the past. Though, a discount on a couple gift cards would never be bad.  ;)
Do you have any experience with that?

FYI, I just received my $20 GCs from the $300 Staples VGC special back in late May. That's about 4 weeks, which is pretty good.

A question: how do I liquidate them other than normal spend?

They are issued by metabank and they said "Debit" in front, but the instructions that came with the card say to use the card as a 'credit' card: "always select credit when making purchases."

Are they BB/RB friendly?
AFAIK they don't have a PIN, so how could you use them to load Redbird these days? Also, is it worth it for a $20 card?
