You can always use them instead of credit cards where you would only be getting 1 cent per point.
(The master cards should be used soonish.)

Question re rebates from items bought online: If there is a limit of one, will it work if you submit 2 rebates for 2 diff. addresses, if they were bought from the same Staples.com account/billing address? Does the shipping address make a difference? Thanks.

If I buy a $55 item with a $41 rebate, and I use $35 in Staples Rewards, will I get a rebate? Will it be the full amount? In other words, is the Reward considered payment (like a GC), or a coupon? Thanks.

There are often coupons that lower the up front cost of paper that's on sale with a rebate. And other coupons, too.)


New hardcoded change: The coupon is now only able to work once per order!  (So if you have a coupon the $14.99 a case of paper and the in-store special is $19.99 a case with a 4 case limit. you used to be able to scan the coupon 4 x and get each case at the $14.99 price.) The $5 off is now being pro-rated between all the cases in the order, rather than the 4x it's put in!
To use the coupon 4x, you need to have each case checked out separately.  Which means that besides the bother at the register, you submit 4 different rebates - and you get 4 different rebate cards of $41 - instead of 1 rebate card worth $164.

Ordered 6 $300 VGCs. Initially charged $1800+ Pending charge disappeared. Charge for 2x$300+ reappeared as charged. 6 delivered and available credit for other 4 back on card. Anyone have similar experience?

Yes, I noticed this when I bought 4 reams of paper last Monday, but only after I left the store. The coupon got split evenly across the four reams, so now I will have to return all four.
