Basically 2 major issues.

1. Painfully Brutally slow.

2. Also part of its slowness I guess..  In classic I could just work with my eyes on the keyboard hit commends one after the other and even its a bit slow for a reason it would still put in each and every command in order. in connect it would just skip the commands which weren't quick enough to be entered at the time they were entered. Understand what I trying to say?

The way issue number 2 affects me is even worse than 1. In any case I emailed my rep now with the feedback and that I do not plan to use it let's see what I hear back.

Yes I do. I am not sure which agencies you asked but I asked a few different agents today and each and every one of them have the same issue. And to irritate, slow doesn't have to mean that it takes 2 minutes to answer a command, when it takes 4 seconds that's called painfully slow as well. Try it and you'll see. It takes its very own time.

(November 3, 2017) - Air France-KLM (AFKL) announced it will apply a Distribution Surcharge of 11 EUR per one way on GDS sales, effective April 1, 2018. The Distribution Surcharge covers the cost difference created by the GDS model in comparison with corresponding costs of AFKL direct sales. It will apply per direction when Air France, KLM or HOP! participate as the marketing carrier (includes Joon).

This surcharge will not apply to Delta marketed segments. Additionally, travel agents can access, book and sell AFKL offers exempt from Distribution Surcharge by connecting to Air France-KLM NDC APIs (Application Programming Interface - available January 2018) or using the dedicated AFKL booking portal for travel agencies (available April 2018).

AFKL is constantly adapting to the needs of the environment it operates in. The airline offers multiple options for customers to purchase travel – including booking through the GDS. However, AFKL faces higher costs and more constraints through the GDS than other distribution.

AFKL has determined that NDC will:
Enable the distribution of rich content and differentiated offers
Ease the sale of ancillary products at travel agencies
Create the base for their response to customer needs on all channels and touch-points

TWIMC: A "GDS" is a travel software that is used by all airlines as their reservations platform, this is what is behind all airlines Websites & call centers, all OTAs, and Travel Agents.

Yes, post trip, Linear will issue a 5% commission calculated off the base price net of taxes
and a 3.5% processing fee to the agency of record.

Travel Agency Requested Action

To ensure a seamless experience for our mutual customers traveling with a lap infant on a domestic itinerary, travel agents are asked to:

Continue to add an infant SSR (INFT) for each lap infant in the PNR to indicate an “infant in arms” is traveling

Issue an infant eTicket at zero value, for customers traveling on/after December 12, 2017.

The process and information needed should be the same as what your GDS requires for issuing infant eTickets on international itineraries.

If needed, please refer to your particular GDS Help Desk, as procedures may vary by GDS.

is there any reason why I can't cancel a PNR before refunding the eticket? (service desk is closed for the holidays and I want to reissue a new ticket in new classes that became available under a new PNR, and don't want it to dupe)
