Did my first extra bag on LY. Took me a while to figure it out, but finally got it with the help of Sabre support desk.

1. Pull up price list for air extras on the ticket (if ticketed)
Code: [Select]
WPAE*T[TICKET LINE #(s)] You can do multiple pax at the same time for this part. If unticketed, the AE price list can generally be pulled up with WPAE, or by first doing a WP, and then either WP*AE or WP*BAG.

2. Add the AE to the PNR:

AE‡1A[LINE NUMBER]3. Send SSR:
Code: [Select]
*AES Each air extra will have an SSR code. The AE will not HD ("PAYMENT REQUIRED" status, which is the only status an AE can be issued on) until the SSR is sent and KK'd.
Code: [Select]
3[SSR CODE FROM ABOVE][SEG#]-[PAX#] On LY 2nd bag is 3XBAS, and 3rd is 3XBAT. You can only send SSR for 1 pax at a time. Sending for multiple pax will return NO. Took me a while to figure that part out
Once SSR KKs the *AE will show status HD, and then you can issue EMD as follows:

In Amadeus, I never did bags, as those were much complicated process, like manually writing an EMD, amt, present at, etc

Lot's of customers like to take care of things in advance.
Especially if they pay cash, then they need to go from the check in desk to the ticketing desk and back etc which takes time

OAL operated flights with LH/LX/OS/SN/4U flight numbers (code-share):
► Flights from/to Belgium:
 on 8
th and 15th December 2014
► Tickets must be issued on/before 02/DEC/2014
Rebooking:
In addition to the respective LH Group Carriers standard involuntary policy for flight irregularities:
► One Rebooking permitted free of charge:
 a) The new date of travel must be on/before 19/MAR/2015
 b) Rebooking in original ticketed booking class/RBD
Exception: For LH-Group operated flights (LH/LX/OS/VO/SN/4U): rebooking to the same or next
available booking class/RBD within the same compartment is permitted.
 The change of origin/destination and class of service/compartment is not permitted
 c) Conditions regarding flight carrier restrictions must be observed any time.
 Exception: Rebooking on LH Group flights (LH/LX/OS/SN/4U-flight numbers) operated by LH Group
 carriers (LH/LX/OS/SN/4U) is permitted for all fares

Please note that by LH guidelines, utilization of Goodwill policies regarding ticket exchanges of LH 220 tickets can be
done by the travel agents, IF the rebooking and ticket exchange are done exactly as described above in the
current TWP – Ticket Waiver Policy. All other ticket exchanges, not outlined above, are restricted to LH only – please
contact your LH Service Team
Swiss (LX):
► In general the standard irregularity policy for rebooking, refund and partial refund applies.
► Travel Agents must contact SWISS for re-bookings/ticket exchanges/re-issues.
Austrian Airlines (OS):

LOL yup.

If they keep this up LH and Air France is gonna cease to exist. LH lost over $600 million in revenue already from their pilots actions.

I called Sabre Tech support today, and the rep spoke a great English, so I ask him where he is located, he said in Krakow. They have there 6 people for tech support, all other are in Uruguay

You use to have to keep stock of tickets and if you ran out then you couldn't issue. There was a part in there if you couldn't print the ticket, how to write it out.

No clue about PTA's
Those who are still using ticket printers, Sabre requires accountable stock (the one you need to keep in the 200lb safe, and can only order based on... (That part of the test was a bit stupid). So back here, ARC should not be aware of the amount of blanks I keep in my pocket, according to them, it worth millions...

Success! I had someone issued on a P class RT TLV-EWR on UA, his original ticket was to return 02DEC but he had to stay here until next week Monday 08DEC, there was just one D class available (both, DL and UA are sold out in J next week) and UA wanted a $240 penalty plus around $800 in fare difference. I called in a UA call center in Asia yesterday and explained some BS that my original flight had a half an hour delay and I was not able to catch a different connection in TLV and I request them to please put me on a flight on 08DEC where I can catch my connection, so the rep says okay but there is a penalty and a fare difference so I explained that because UA messed up my connection they have to rebook me, so she said okay I can waive the penalty but I can't sell you the last J seat on the flight for the same 4k you paid, long story short after speaking to supervisor they overbooked P class and I saved that guy $1,000!!

El Al is going to require agents to issue EMD's for Extra baggage from January 2015.

$15 Service Fee will apply for call center to issue.

My father went to Israel with DL on a Z class (without a weekend, got a waiver) he decided that he wants to come home next week Sunday instead of Motzei Shabbos, there was just 1 J class left, the best I was able to make out of it was a C class. I called in with some BS and got it reissued for free. (they left the C class)

Guys, here is the trick to make some easy $. I did it for my father so I didn't charge him anything. But for a customer if he really wants that flight and there is only one C class left, just find a way to reissue it for free and charge the customer $4/500 (still a steal for the customer)
