I've used my DL for flights to Israel
I've flown Business to Israel a couple of times as well at the low tier award levels.

In fact if I remember correctly my first award ticket ever was a Business class ticket to TLV when I was younger.
How do you find this?!
There are some tricks and tips to finding low tier availability. Delta does NOT always make it easy. That's for sure.
Perhaps you can share some?! :)

It's not impossible. It gets harder when you are looking for multiple tickets. If I'm looking for more than two for international I usually don't even bother with Delta.

The "I am traveling" trick which I only learned about a year ago has helped me a couple of times lately.
Send you a PM.
