if that would be your final price that would be an amazing deal considering it includes the airport tax and that its high season here however if you booked it on budget.com thats not your final price as theres an insurance that you have to take even with a world mastercard so it might come out to be double. (i once saw a deal on budget.com for $20 a day and lo and behold i ended up paying $40) but even $50/day is not a bad price as in yerushalayim its hard to find one for under 60

i just spoke to someone who told me that if you use a mastercard world it should only be $12-$13 a day more for insurance but you still might pay the $27 airport fee

Whats the bottom line, is it really worth calling chayat or sixt, or are the online prices pretty much the same? mid sep. time... (before yom tov) and will all rental places really make me purchase their auto insurance? also if you search hertz their listed cars look like the 80's is that really what they give?  thanks

actually every one will give you shabbos off if you are religious make sure to tell them

I called Budget and asked about the world mastercard, and they said I have to call my credit card company and see if it covers rentals in Israel.

He said you must purchase liability even if you have a cc w/insurance.

Avis on Yirmiyahu forced me to buy some BS limited insurance plan (which came out to about $250 for a month) even with a world mastercard...I filed a chargeback and got back 75% of the insurance charge as a goodwill credit.
