why is orbitz priced higher

I was looking for a tkt, lax-jfk-lax on dl for 7 ppl. Orbitz was showing 3045, delta was 2765. Any reason for this discrepency? I thought all tkts were priced the same

First check to see if you were looking at the exact same flights on the exact same days and both searches were for 7 tickets. Also sometimes there is a lag in the system that will be updated shortly thereafter...

Different routing, but I noticed the same thing today on Orbitz as well...

A lot of times there is a tiny price difference between all the different sites.
