On a similar but not entirely related note...
Every month on the 13th (hebrew), I get a bunch of texts from people looking for others to join... 13 ppl to say perek 13 of tehillim 13 times in the zechus to find a shidduch for all of them.
Now, I'm all for saying a little extra tehillim, so I usually do join, but does anyone know if there's an actual source for this?

No. Same goes with the 40 ladies baking challos, or pretty much anything like that. At least according to the Rav who wrote the book (literally) on these things. Its a segula as far as doing any mitzva is a segula for anything you want it to be
