I mean that is actually very crucial if you plan on buying a house under one of your names & the the other spouse getting section 8. Great question to ask. & then the second obvious benefit is to know if you will be able to get good credit limits & get approved for many credit cards.

Actually that's the reason I married a canadian, I became an Au on her cards so that when the USA implodes and we all move north of the border I won't have to start from scratch (admittedly marrying a Chinese girl would probably be a better Idea but I wanted to have more then 1 child)
