If you find good links and have a solid connection it's not bad.  Probably ~720p.  It ain't no 4k.

Otherwise you can torrent HD versions.  I shy away from downloading due to legality issues.

I refuse to watch anything less than a DVD Screener. I ain't watching a CAM version of a movie; just not enjoyable for me.

Depends on the day. On average I'd guess it takes me about 15 min/1GB. But that probably depends on my ISP more than it does on Telegram.

Same here. They tell you what quality it is above all the links. All the recently leaked movies are all at least screener quality.

If my math is correct, that comes out to about 1.1 mb/sec. Not bad, but it's not what I get on torrents (4.5 mb+).

Can you find new movies?

Hey, this isn't a first class award. No need to go all excel on this... But honestly, that's just a rough estimate, you'd need to see for yourself what download speed you get.

It's not about finding movies. You can only download what the admin posts.

Why are you looking to change from torrents? You won't have the selection you have there.

I wait for them to come out on dvd before downloading then. After that they are fine quality

Why is it different from streaming? Is it the seeding you're worried about?

Right.  But with this latest batch they haven't even been released in theaters yet and the screeners are everywhere.

Quote
But is streaming unlicensed content online illegal? Jim Gibson, director of the Intellectual Property Institute at the University of Richmond law school, told Business Insider that streaming online content breaks the law in two cases.

When the user downloads even part of a file — called "pseudo-streaming" — it counts as a copy of copyrighted material, which is illegal. And when the user streams content as a "public performance" — namely, when it's shown to a substantial number of people outside the normal family circle and its close acquaintances — it also constitutes a copyright violation.

Outside of these cases, accessing unlicensed streamed content is generally legal.

Every 'scene release' is labeled with the source. The stuff that gets leaked at the end of the year is always DVD screeners. That may happen here and there throughout the year, but for the most part the high quality stuff comes out at the same time, or sometimes a little bit (think a week, not a month) before, the movie gets the full public Blu-Ray/DVD public release.

That's the source. In terms of methods of downloading, if you're comfortable with torrents, that's probably the best route. All of the leaked screeners are available via torrent already. Searching dvdscr at Torrentz (link), to name just a few:
Creed
In the Heart of the Sea
Joy
Steve Jobs
The Peanuts Movie
The Revenant
Concussion
Straight Outta Compton

ETA: Almost all of the streaming sources won't be the same as what you get via torrents, but it may be good enough for you.

If it is released in another country first or someone got his hands on a final copy for the producers you can get high quality earlier. Such as the last expendables
