Is that the trick to a happy marriage?  :)

Again, great for music, but I would never be able to sleep on a plane with those in my ears.
The Bose have enough padding that they don't bother me when sleeping.

For me the only purpose of these is for the benefit on a plane, I rarely use them otherwise.
What do you use to listen to music when you work? (Do you listen to music when you work? or bigger q. Do you work? :P)

And on this topic, my netbook doesn't really play movies loud enough for me to hear on my headphones while flying. This appears to be a software limitation, since I know my headphones can play louder. So this is stupid, because why does the software limit the volume like that. There should be some patch I can download that will make the controls go louder. But I can't find such a thing by googling.

OT, but with VLC you can make the volume louder.

IMO, the best combination of noise reduction and sound quality would be the the Etymotic ER 4 $280 http://amzn.to/Zj52qd.
In-ear headphones with noise isolation of 35-42db at any frequency(all passive), which is tops in the headphone market and excellent sound quality to boot.
Some people don't like in-ear headphones though.

I purchased a the Etymotic HF2 and did the custom earbuds for $100 - I went to a hearing center in Cleveland the whole thing costed $205 worth every penny unbelievable comfort with great noise blocking.
