-Checkin to Fairmont Palm or PH DXB at 9am
-Drive to Ferrari World and arrive 11am
-Depart at 4pm and drive to Sheikh Zayed Mosque for 5pm tour
-Try to sweet talk my way into Burj Al Arab?
-Sleep at Fairmont Palm or PH DXB

Do the second one. Cut down time spent at Khalifa, and head to Mosque in AUH and sleep at PH in AUH.

For which night?
We fly into DXB, the Desert Safari only picks up from DXB, and the flight the next morning is from DXB.

Renting a car, driving, and parking were all a piece of cake and very inexpensive.
If you want to do AUH and DXB I'd highly recommend driving yourself.
There was free parking at Ferrari World, AUH Mosque, Dubai Mall, Madinat Jeremiah, Mall of the Emirates, and free valet at every hotel.
