If you combine the sites and a desert/beach/pool vacation, you’ll probably be fine...

True, as there's no limit to beach/pool time for some.

Thanks but no, for that Miami is good enough. I'll have to find someplace else as the world is closed.

It's not a bad deal for 31K-39K SPG.
Would be amazing if they'd be willing to source kosher food as part of the full-board, but that's a ridiculously long-shot.
Still see them accommodating kosher food as a long-shot?  :)
Seriously if Al Maha become constructive with kosher full board that might be one of the best redemption out there.

At that rate it's going, not a bad speculative booking.

That would be amazing and tremendous progress. When I stayed at Al Maha 2.5 years ago, I couldn't even get them to store my food in their freezer and warm it up double-wrapped!

A lot has changed since you were there. They are the most accommodating hotel I’ve been to regarding kosher food.
They let me keep my whole cooler in the freezer and let me come and go in the kitchen as I please.
Warmed up all food. They made me breakfast with my pan ect.

Have a 4 day business conference in Dubai this winter. Its centered on Habtoor Palace. Question is- should I stay there or go for some way better place? (Waldorf or Ritz, St Regis is too far).

Also, can someone please PM where is Chabad? Obviously cant find address online. Maybe I'll stay near them for Minyan...

Cash prices are crazy high there. Any alternatives and kosher accommodating?

Waldorf location is very unique, in that it has a view of both Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa that you won't find almost anywhere else. But it's really remote, all the way out on the palm, and will involve a lot of extra driving coming and going. It's ideal if you're just going to chill at your resort, but while I enjoyed my visit, I was glad I didn't stay there. I spent 2 nights at the Ritz (plus 1 at Al Maha, and 1 in Abu Dhabi), which was a much more convenient location. As mentioned, Al Maha should only be booked on points (or converted Ritz certs :), not cash.

Thanks. Will probably just stay at the Habtoor, most convenient. Interestingly enough, Habtoor guests receive free access to Waldorf private beach.

When is your conference?

Looks like Arieh Wagner is running a kosher program in Habtoor Palace from end December with a kosher coffee shop...
