Noticed some people had some trip reports but figured would be helpful opening a new master thread...

I have a 20 hour stop over.. curious as to whats recommended.. I'm definitely going for some early morning skiing... looking for a safe market to buy some purim costumes.. what else is really neat?

What else is recommeded? land at 8am and leave at 4am... flying EK first (4 legs) happy to hear some feedback as well how the meals are... I'm on 2 380s and 2 777's

Has anyone Jewish looking gone? Thanks

The malls are cool, but only thing that was WOW to me was the Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi, about an hour drive away

why do u say so, i just spoke to a few people that went to dubai as frum jews. one stayed in airport with a hat and jacket, no problems.

and the other 2 toured for a day, put caps on, and were fine, they felt very safe they said. - and i will be with another 3 ppl there iy"h

Crazy story though it could happen in any 3rd world country. It's a general danger of flying somewhere with a messed up legal system, not a specific danger for a Jew flying to Dubai.
