if i closed down all my amex accounts then a few months later opened a new amex, will i be able to get the extended warrantee on a labtop i purchased back with my first amex? or do i have to have an amex open straight thru?

Should be able to get it.  Friendly tip - try to avoid new threads. There's already an extended warranty thread.

Don't see why not. T&C don't say anythign about keeping the card or being an amex customer. I have done that with cancelled cards, although not when i had a complete Amex lapse.

Should be the same thing, as long as you know which card it was i would imagine.  GO to the website and fill out the form and see what happens. that's what i did.

I purchased an item on 9/14  and shipping was supposed to take 4-7 days, according to the tracking I will only be getting the item today. Is there any benefit that I can make use of due to the delay of shipping? Thank you
