I've used MP3 cutter. Meanwhile when choosing a ringtone I can select a audio file and it lets me cut it and save it as a ringtone. Not sure how it works on the Moto X.

You don't need an app for that you just need to place in the right folder on the sd card.

This may be a vague question, but what is the easiest way to process photos on my phone? Is there an automatic way to upload the photos to dropbox etc or some service like snapfish?

I believe the dropbox app can be set to upload automatically.
