I'm talking about that generation.

you need to get a app called registry editor,
the exact next steps depends on the model

You could manually change your PRL...

I personally have a custom PRL on my HTC Evo 4G LTE that has Sprint and VZW towers listed as Home network so that it will use whichever has better signal.

There used to be some apps floating around for the 2.x versions, I haven't seen any for 4.x

Nope. Although instructions are different for every model, so you would have to check xda-developers.com.

Someone is trying to download Whatsapp to their Samsung Moment (half-smartphone) but the app doesn't appear in market by them.
Is there any site that it can be downloaded from?
Will it work on the Moment?

Have you tried http://whatsapp.com/dl ?

The stock alarm clock on my Replenish will ring and ring every ten min, so therefore I can't use it on shabbos. I'm looking for a free alternative. Which one do you recommend? The ability to move to SD card is a big plus for me. Thanks

So BAHayman pointed me to this nice Zmanim app that can calculate zmanim with a zip code or coordinates even when offline.
And he helped me add hebrew dates and yom tovs to the built in google calendar.
All in all a decent makeshift solution to the lack of the Palm Luach app.
Is it supposed to show on the mobile app as well? It doesn't by me.

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

you probably didn't select in your calendar settings to show those calendars. You have to play around with the settings a bit, it wasn't automatic for me.

I selected only that account.

Also same problem:
Was all excited about the Hebrew calendar. Id never seen that before but now I realized its showing everyday highlighted. Slightly annoying.

Thanks for posting!
