Webos has a Palm Os emulator, I wonder if one exists for Android (Google did not turn up anything).

I discovered a great app today called Chrome to Phone. You install it on your chrome browser on computer and put the app on your phone. If you're on a website or google maps on your computer and you want to pull up that website on your phone (classic case: In middle of reading something interesting and need to leave the house or you pulled up an address and want to pop it into your phones GPS) you click the button on your browser for Chrome to phone and your phone browser pops open to that site!!

Sorry, sorry!
Well, it was in the Chrome Extensions thread so I think it still deserves an appearance in the Android apps thread.

And even if it's old  (Jan 22, 2012 on the forums old) it's still a pretty exciting app!

Has anybody heard of an Android app that measures the mAH of the batteries charging and discharging rate like the good old Palm OS's Power Hero? Very useful when trying to figure out which charger charges at a faster rate or what apps use up more battery than others etc

Just an FYI, Amazon Appstore currently has Tapatalk available for only $0.99.

(In case any Android DDF users don't already have it...)

Whew! I just uninstalled every downloaded app from my Evo except 7 apps! Feels like a shower and getting into an AC room on a hot, sweaty summer day!
Now gonna delete a bunch of my Gmail addresses.
Anything else I can do to "clean the residue" in my phone and really optimize it?

ICS on Evo wouldn't be too large for it and too slow?
About rooting, I've never been a big fan of it but being that I'm due for an upgrade soon and anyways it doesn't look like the Evo will be getting any more upgrades maybe I can do it.. Unless I'm wrong about the upgrade not happening?
BTW, I noticed the amount of crap that Sprint forces down my throat. Although I removed tons of apps I still have all the garbage that I can't uninstall... Rooting might help my cause after all...

Rooting will definitely help, any custom 2.3 rom will be faster and have better battery life then stock. I actually have ICS on my Evo for the past few days and love it, occasional reboots and a little slowness occasionally but all in all its awesome.

4G works when you root? Do you have a lot of apps and still no prob?
Let's see if I get this straight.. ICS might slow it down due to its size but will speed it up because it's ICS regardless of processor?
