Whatís the jcc bbq like ? Party style or more restaurant style ? How much does it cost ?
You are seated at your assigned table. Looks like nice restaurant. The server will bring you drinks and some items, but for the most part you go to the buffet tables to get your food, and there is lots of it including sushi, steak and chicken, desserts; large, generous assortment of items, seemingly endless supply, and you eat at your own table, nothing like a typical wedding shmorg rushed grab fest. I seem to recall that it was about a total US $110 bill for the both of us.

The JCC BBQ is fine for travel, but IMHO, the one of the most overrated things here on DDF. I should note that when I was there, there wasnt any lamb which had there been, might have tipped the scales from fine to good.

If youíd rather use straight points instead of CSR, look into the Intercontinental Grand Stanford. Itís probably the closest one that is also shabbos friendly (Hyatt Regency is not)
Just not gonna be next door like Shangri la.

In my experience from March of this year, the IC GS was not shabbos friendly. There are sensors in the stairwells which brighten the lights as you walk by.

Anyone know if the MGM in Macau lets you use MGM comps that you earned in a US based casino ?

Good question. I'd ask them to confirm unless someone here has been very recently.

I know that in America when u want to use comps in a casino part of MGM u canít do it automatically or online, but you can do it by going into the casino itself. You sure you canít do the same in Macau ?

You can call the SL and ask for the KZ rate, probably a better deal than the portal

KZ doesn't do shabbos res typically, you just show up
I tried calling shangri la and they said that they canít give out the kz corporate rate over the phone. They wanted to send it to me via email, but I needed a corporate email for them to send it to me which I donít have. Was the rep mistaking ? Any way to get the corporate rate ?

Try emailing SL Reservations or calling KZ for the current procedure

I'm thinking of booking the W Kowloon for Thursday and Shangri-la or Sheraton for Fri-Sat. I'll need a hotel for a couple more nights after so I was thinking to stay on HKI, what hotel/s should I book?
