I just dmed them on Twitter, they asked me which meal I wanted (lamb, chicken, or omelette), and which lounge I wanted to eat in and at what time. We were served the meals exactly on time in The Pier.

wow, great service!

Debating whether I should stay at the holiday inn golden mile or Sheraton for Shabbos?
Is the Sheraton a much nicer hotel?

I can't comment on which one is nicer but the Sheraton wasn't that great for Shabbos, workable for sure but I'd stay at the Shangri-la if you can.

I liked it for shabbos. Sure the Shangri-La is closer, but the Sheraton was nice and not too far of a walk. Plus they allowed me use use the stairs to get to my room which was super easy.

What was wrong with the Sheraton for Shabbos? I had no issues

Stayed at the Royal Garden and was very pleased.  Just half a block farther than the Shangri-la and 1/3 of the price.  I used hotels.

Which Twitter handle did you DM? How did you identify yourself - you gave them your CX PNR?

What about the Pier?

Also, can I use the Pier/Wing as arrival lounge on a layover? I arrive 5:30 from tlv, and leave 16:30 or so.

Has anyone recently gone to Macau from Kowloon?
How long is the turn around time?
Is it worth going for just a few hours?

We went for a few hours to a casino and The House of Dancing Water. But that was 9 years ago :)
