Thanks, will look into it.

Any suggestions on things to do, shows to watch, etc in Macau (for now). Just a reminder that my sister & nephew will be there with me, so no adult shows  :D. What casino would you recommend for sister & I to go for sometime?

I still haven't reached Hong Kong part yet  ;), will be posting questions about that soon  ;D

Thanks for the link Dan. One thing with hat show's schedule is that we can't go directly to Macau from airport as we reach HK on 28th March, and there is no show that day. Next day, shows are at 5 & 8 pm, so if we were to go from airport, we will be spending all next day there too. Or, may be we should go to Macau on 30th around nouns, and watch show that day. But, it leaves us with only 1.5 days in HK...oh decisions

Intrigued by Hong Kong, mainly due to the airfare deal you posted on Friday (still finding those prices). Few questions- can I upgrade the flights using miles? I have chase and united points. Second- is Hong Kong worth it? Or should I use that as a springboard for a greater trip to Asia?

HKG is nice in its own right, though not for vary long. How long depends on what you want to do (or have done in the case of custom clothing). It also depends on how long you're going away for total.

I want to go to Hong Kong for about 5 days in August including one Shabbos. I have a 7 month old baby who will be about 10 months old then. I really, really don't want to rely on using a Goy to get from the hotel to the Shul/meals.

Does anyone know of a hotel that is connected to one of the shuls/restaurants?
It seems like the Chabad in Kowloon is in the same center as a couple of hotels. Do they have access to the Chabad? is there a fence around the place?

Thanks!

I was not in the Chabad, but we went to KZ (Shul, restaurant, excellent Shabbos meals) which is in a shopping mall building literally next door to the Shangrila Hotel. However, to my knowledge there is no internal connection so you have to work outside on the public sidewalk (more than 4 Amos). And Im not sure if you can carry in the mall itself until you get into KZ via escalator on 2nd floor. Perhaps if you call the KZ Rabbi (a Talmud Chacham and very nice fellow) he may have a solution, or goyta reference.

I've been there with a baby and I arranged with the hotel to walk my stroller to shul and with the rabbi (Moded of KZ) to have a goyta walk my stroller next door.

The rabbi surely made a eruv in the mall - as they use the hallway sometimes for excess people to sit

just curious whats the issue if a goy pushes your stroller
I have nothing in common with lazy people who blame others for their lack of success. Great things come from hard work

Everyone should consult their Rav, but having a goy do something for you on shabas is not simple.
