If you’d rather use straight points instead of CSR, look into the Intercontinental Grand Stanford. It’s probably the closest one that is also shabbos friendly (Hyatt Regency is not)
Just not gonna be next door like Shangri la.

What about the Sheraton?
That works too, I thought you wanted the closest.
On Gmaps IC Grand Stanford is a 6 min walk to KZ & Sheraton is a 10 min walk.

Also anyone have the contact info of the restaurant and chabad of kz for shabbos reservations ?
Chabad & KZ are two separate things.

KZ is Sephardi and has a restaurant (Mul Hayam) + shabbos meals.
https://www.kehilat-zion.org

There is a Chabad in Kowloon that has shabbos meals, don’t think you meant that but here you go.

Mul Hayam probably has a meatless menu this week preceding Tisha B'Av, and the JCC probably won't have a BBQ this Sunday.

You are seated at your assigned table. Looks like nice restaurant. The server will bring you drinks and some items, but for the most part you go to the buffet tables to get your food, and there is lots of it including sushi, steak and chicken, desserts; large, generous assortment of items, seemingly endless supply, and you eat at your own table, nothing like a typical wedding shmorg rushed grab fest. I seem to recall that it was about a total US $110 bill for the both of us.

The JCC BBQ is fine for travel, but IMHO, the one of the most overrated things here on DDF. I should note that when I was there, there wasnt any lamb which had there been, might have tipped the scales from fine to good.

In my experience from March of this year, the IC GS was not shabbos friendly. There are sensors in the stairwells which brighten the lights as you walk by.
