Author Topic: CONNECTION POSSIBLE? (Read 5502 times)

Was trying to get to Israel ,only thing i found going for whole family would be JFK-SIN, arrives at 10AM, than continue on ELAL at 11Am to TLV. Is such a connection doable with kids? 1 hour in FRA transfer enough time? any chance i get SIN to transfer bags over to ELAL even though their 2 separate tickets and alliances? thanks!!!

i would say hes transferring in FRA, hes just on the flight number that goes to SIN. SQ25

im doing alitalia to fco and than elal to tlv - was wandering about the baggage issue also

I wouldn't risk it, unless they check the baggage all the way through.

Totally wouldn't risk it. If you miss the flight, no one will be responsible for it, Even if its a legal connection since its on 2 tickets

If my bags get lost in Rome and don't end up getting transferred to Elal is anyone responsible?
Also I purchased travel insurance, will that cover it?

well of course el al will be responsible. Did u buy baggage insurance with ur ticket (Amex)

that wouldn't make sense.
The question is whether the airlines sq and ly interlink?
It has nothing to do with alliances etc. As lx and aa interlink although lx is *alliance and aa is 1 world

There is an official MCT list. You can get it on KVS.
If you want a practical list, I don't know how much TAs will help with that
